Account Executive - Munich
Help launch NORNORM in Munich. Win new business, build strong relationships and shape our presence in a brand-new market as we scale circular workspaces across Europe.
NORNORM is a fast-growing circular scale-up on a mission to redefine the workspace industry through a subscription model that’s better for people, businesses, and the planet.
We’re expanding rapidly across Europe, backed by a leading player in the furniture industry and renowned growth equity investors, and we’re now opening a new market in the Munich area.
To build our presence in the region, we’re looking for Account Executives who’s driven by building relationships, winning new business, and helping establish NORNORM in a new market. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating opportunities from the ground up, and can manage the full commercial cycle from first contact to close.
You combine commercial sharpness with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You’re motivated by ambitious targets, but also by the opportunity to build something: developing a local network, creating commercial momentum and helping make NORNORM known across the Munich workspace ecosystem.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Proactively hunt, identify and close new business opportunities across the Munich region.
Build NORNORM’s local network and presence across the workspace and commercial real estate ecosystem.
Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing and contracting.
Manage and prioritise several client cases and commercial projects simultaneously.
Grow existing accounts by identifying new use cases, expansion opportunities and upsell potential.
Collaborate with colleagues and partners across Europe to support client onboarding and ensure smooth delivery.
Represent NORNORM at client meetings, industry events and other relevant touchpoints across the region.
What we’re looking for:
You are persistent, self-motivated and commercially ambitious, with the drive to help build a market rather than simply inherit one. You thrive in a performance-focused environment and are energised by targets, momentum and creating new opportunities.
You communicate with confidence, build trust quickly and are comfortable getting out into the market to develop relationships. You bring structure, drive and resilience, and you’re motivated by turning new connections into long-term customer relationships.
3+ years in a commercial B2B role
Hunting sales experience with proven ability to acquire new clients
Full sales cycle ownership and strong project management skills
Strong professional communication skills
Experience with commercial real estate, brokers, landlords, tenant reps, office leasing or workspace providers is a plus
An existing network in the Munich business or workspace ecosystem is a plus
Native or near-native German speaker, and fluent, confident English, written and spoken (both are non-negotiable).
Why join us?
Joining NORNORM means being part of something bigger - and in Munich, you’ll also have the opportunity to build something new.
You’ll be part of establishing NORNORM in a new market, while working closely with talented colleagues and experienced commercial leaders across Europe. You’ll have the backing of an established international business combined with the entrepreneurial opportunity of building our local presence from the ground up.
Practicalities:
This is a Munich-based role. Building a new market means being close to it, so we expect you to spend significant time meeting clients, partners and prospects and developing relationships across the region.
We value flexibility, but this is not a remote sales role. Success will come from being visible in the market, building a strong local network and working closely with the wider NORNORM commercial team.
To apply, you’ll need to have the right to work in Germany, as we’re unfortunately not able to offer visa or relocation support.
Our recruitment process
We run a structured recruitment process and review all candidates based on their application. You don’t need a flawless CV or a perfectly polished application — we value authenticity and would much rather hear your own voice than something overly scripted.
Please apply via the application form and include a short cover letter outlining your motivation for the role.
To ensure a fair and consistent process for all candidates, we’re not able to offer individual introductory calls or informal conversations outside the application process.

Our success depends on a strong corporate culture
We took on a great challenge: to reinvent the furniture industry. Founded in 2020, we've grown into a business active across 17 European countries and 59 cities, trusted by businesses like Electrolux, Netflix and Wolt to furnish and adapt their workspaces the circular way.
Our mission remains the same: to create millions of workspaces that inspire people to do the best work of their lives. And we want our clients to experience that everything we do simply works.
Our success will depend partly on external factors, such as market maturity and competitors. But it will depend just as much on the culture we build as a business.
Our key cultural aspirations are:
Attracting and keeping highly talented and effective people who find that their time at NORNORM is time well spent.
Teamwork fuelled by passionate, skilled people who bring out the best in each other and actively seek out each other's perspectives.
Having the courage to keep being a game changer in the furniture industry, day after day.
Our core values are:
WE CARE
WE DARE
WE DO
WE MAKE SIMPLE - EASY
You will help shape our culture. There is work to be done every single day, by all of us, to continuously build a strong and positive culture. Every person who joins us helps shape and evolve it further.
