As a young company working in the fields of circular economy, space-as-a-service and the future or work, it is sometimes difficult to assess what decisions you've made will end up being the right ones. That is both the exciting and daunting thing about innovating in uncharted territory — the metrics of success are not even defined for us yet.

Germany is an attractive and growing market. We want to take part in this development. In constantly changing times, capital investments in buildings, office space and office furniture are unattractive and inflexible for our clientele. From us, they receive a custom-fit furnishing concept and exactly the office furniture they need, delivered directly without delay.

My starting point was to keep the design aesthetic true to Nordic heritage. I also wanted to make it timeless, rather than trendy, in order for it to feel contemporary even in the future. There is also a strong element of freedom – freedom to mix, to choose, to change, to embrace the new but to hold on what is good.

It's always challenging to work in a fast-growing company. Part of my work as HR is to develop stage-appropriate processes to nurture a high-performing culture that attracts and retains the right talent. This is an iterative work, revisiting the situation and adapting our response at every step of the journey.
