Junior Full-Stack Developer
Join a team of digital pioneers redefining the workspace industry through a circular business model that’s better for people, business and the planet!
At NORNORM, we’re digital pioneers redefining the workspace industry through a circular business model that’s better for people, business and the planet.
As our business grows, so does the complexity of operating a circular subscription model across products, logistics, refurbishment, inventory and customer operations. Strong internal systems, scalable data infrastructure and accessible business insights are therefore critical to how we scale the business.
We are therefore looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to strengthen our Digital Development team and help build the next generation of internal digital products, analytics capabilities and operational tools at NORNORM.
Initially, the role will focus on analytics backend development and the continued evolution of NORNORM’s BI platform, with the ambition for the role to grow into a broader full-stack development position over time.
What you'll be doing:
Analytics backend and data platform
Maintain, improve, test and document dbt models and data transformations.
Support data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery and SQL-based analytics logic.
Debug data quality issues and identify root causes across data models and pipelines.
Improve reliability, maintainability and transparency of data models, definitions and business rules.
BI platform development
Support the continued development of NORNORM’s BI tool
Contribute to backend logic, APIs, and data structures supporting BI use cases
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting and insight needs, and translate these into technical tasks together with the team
Full-stack development
Build and maintain new and existing backend services and APIs in collaboration with the development team
Support frontend work when needed
Learn and contribute to the broader NORNORM technology stack, following testing and documentation practices
Take part in communication with users, receive and take action on bug reports, feature requests, etc.
We imagine that you have:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within software engineering, computer science, IT or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience within software development, analytics engineering, backend development or similar.
Strong foundation in SQL and experience with Python.
Experience with software development, including Git/GitHub and writing clear, maintainable code.
Understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, APIs and backend development concepts.
Able to use AI-supported coding tools responsibly by reviewing and validating output before applying it.
Interest in growing into full-stack web development beyond the initial analytics/backend focus.
..and believe that you are:
Curious, fast-learning and comfortable learning from more experienced developers.
Detail-oriented, especially when working with data logic and quality.
Pragmatic, structured and solution-oriented.
Able to communicate technical topics in a simple and understandable way.
Why join NORNORM?
If you join NORNORM, you become part of a company where technology is central to enabling and scaling a circular business model across products, logistics, refurbishment and customer operations.
You’ll get the opportunity to work on systems and digital products that play an important role in how NORNORM operates and scales as a circular business. You’ll help shape how internal tools, analytics capabilities and digital products evolve across the organisation while working closely with experienced full-stack developers and gradually taking on more ownership over time.
We offer a collaborative, high-trust environment with short decision paths, strong learning opportunities and a culture shaped by curiosity, courage and a shared ambition to help build a more circular future.
