Student Assistant – Spatial Designer

As digital pioneers scaling rapidly across Europe, we are now looking for a creative and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our Spatial Design team. In this role, you will support the Design & Range team in creating inspiring, functional, and sustainable workspace solutions aligned with our NORNORM design principles.
The Role
As a Spatial Design Student Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating the future of workspaces. Working independently and collaboratively, you will partner closely with colleagues in Sales and Customer Success to deliver workspace designs that embody our Nordic design principles of functionality, simplicity, and timelessness.
Based in Copenhagen, you will be allocated to one of our markets either in Germany or the Netherlands. Therefore, you need to be fluent in English. Knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus, but not a requirement.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D workspace designs tailored to a variety of client needs
Support the Design & Range team in development and creative processes
Participate in client meetings to present and discuss design ideas
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all designs reflect NORNORM’s visual identity and brand guidelines
Your Profile
You are currently studying Architecture, Spatial Design, or a related field
You are confident working in both 2D and 3D design tools
Experience working in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Fluent in English (working language); knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus
You are organized, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Working Hours & Flexibility
This is a part-time position (approx. 30–50 hours per month), with flexibility to accommodate your academic schedule. We ask that you’re available to contribute extra hours during school holidays when our full-time staff may be on leave.
