As we scale globally, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to elevate our finance operations and guide our organization through its next stage of growth. The Role:
As our new CFO, you will be pivotal in guiding NORNORM’s financial strategy to support our global growth objectives. While ensuring essential financial operations, your focus will also be on building scalable structures and leading initiatives that support our global expansion. Working within a complex international matrix organization, you will navigate finance structures across the EU, UK, Norway, and the US, contributing to NORNORM’s leadership position within the circular economy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Operations: Strategically lead all finance functions, including accounting, reporting, tax, invoicing, and payment processes, ensuring they scale seamlessly with our growth while driving efficiency improvements
- Funding, Debt Operations & Financial Assets Management: Securing funding (debt and equity) as well as top-tier performance in debt management and financial covenants control.
- Entity Structuring & Cash Flow Optimization: Implement scalable finance systems tailored to a multi-entity structure across international jurisdictions, optimizing cash flow and managing working capital effectively.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support decision-making across the organization.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Develop risk mitigation strategies, ensure global regulatory compliance, and manage audit processes.
- Leadership: Inspire and lead the finance team while communicating financial matters clearly to stakeholders, including auditors and investors.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a CFO who excels in operational finance and thrives in navigating complexity. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in elevating finance operations, with a strong track record in accounting, cash management, debt management, and entity structuring.
- Demonstrated success in scaling finance functions across multiple entities and jurisdictions, including asset-heavy and asset-light structures.
- Strong financial strategy, risk management, and compliance experience, with expertise in multi-country financial regulations.
- Previous experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment is a strong advantage, particularly in companies navigating the circular economy or sustainability-focused operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial issues into clear, actionable insights.
